How much longer can Treyarch flog a dead horse for? Oooh, ok, I apologise, Call of Duty: World at War is not a dead horse. In fact its lobbies are very much alive and kicking, and full of people waiting in anticipation at the launch of its new Xbox Live map pack 3.
I must admit though, as great a game as it is (I prefer COD4) its a shame that considering all the money that the fans of the game have laid out in buying the game and then all the map packs, Treyarch still want more!
"Let the record show your honour, that I have bought all the map packs too!"
When I picked up COD4, there was an inlay card with a code on it, I logged on to an Infinity Ward site and redeemed the code for the map pack, and that was that. Ok, maybe its Infinity's failing that they never cashed in on the potential cash cow that the COD brand name seems to bring. Maybe with Modern Warfare 2, they'll do just that.

Modern Warfare 2 - Infinity Ward
The point I'm really making is, with all this consumer brand loyalty, wouldn't it be nice to get maybe just a free map or two?
"Come on Trearch, don't be a cash hungry capitalist giant, please."
