If your tired of playing the rule obeying soldier and fancy yourself as a deadly assasin / rebel then Just Cause 2 might just be the fun your rule breaking brain has been crying out for. You play as a mercenary who is on the look out for any money making venture whilst helping out in the process any one of the three faction groups. Your goal though is to gain locate and eliminate a rogue agent for the agency you are really employed by. Graphically, JC2 (is a great play featuring large mountainous terrain to vast open stretches of water and villages and cities. Its a little tedious though at times traversing these large open areas on foot, but if you acquire a vehicle or aircraft from a passing civilian or army unit, you should enjoy the ride. That part plays a little like GTA with the vehicles ranging from mopeds, trucks, cars to passenger airliners. The gameplay does become very reptitive mind, so if you don't like shoot 'em ups then you best look else where for that strategic element you seek.
Having also played "Mercenaries 2" I don't think I'd be too far wrong in saying "JC2" is a nicer to play clone :) A fair 8/10 for the neat grapple gizmo.
