So the latest 'must have' is the
Xbox Kinect motion system, a sure fire add-on
that's going to send Nintendo running to the hills or Bankrupt, you choose! Over the past few years, lots of people have rushed to the shops to grab their own revolutionary
Wii console. Today those
Wii's mostly gather dust in some dingy corner of a bedroom/cupboard, only to be dusted off for the odd
Wii Party night. Yes, the novel gadget captured our hearts but its poor graphics (PS2 like) fail to impress the real gamer. And why the hell should they? So Microsoft and Sony's graphically superior consoles are now going to war to try and win
Nintendos market share. Who'll save them now, Mario?

My point is...
Yes the
Kinect is great and
slightly different than the
Wii in method, but great for what exactly? As I said above, great for Parties, great for large ass gamers
lookin' to shed a few pounds, and great for putting a rival out of business. The downside is however, the fun doesn't last, we'll soon get bored and go back to our lazy controllers and gaming chairs. Picture the scene, playing MW2....the floor space in front of the television is
headin' for a sure-fire beating with all that running and going prone!
Kinect system -£129.99 , New floor -£175, Looking like a right knob = Priceless!
