It looks as though China are finally set to relax laws on gaming consoles. Rumour or fact, no one is really sure, either way its sent Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo shares rising on the back of this Chinese whisper. As an avid gamer, it seems unbelievable and unfair that folk in China haven't been able to take up this leisurely pursuit. More than likely, online multi play will be disabled, but that shouldn't be to much of a loss to endure after being internet censored for decades. It would also come as no surprise if certain game titles are censored, I'm thinking more your "Call of Duty" rather than "Minecraft".
Whilst all the Big gaming giants are seeing pound/dollar signs, and the industry in general is probably looking forward to the extra cash, is China ready to take on the social problems that they may encounter from such an addictive hobby?
Xbox Xblog, what you see is what you get! A good dose of Xbox blogging - Whats happening in the World of Xbox , to whats happening in the World. It's a World of pain, a World of gain, but always a World of Microsoft's Xbox Gaming. Oh, and other nonsense now and again! :)
