Ok, ok, so it maybe be a little too much to use the words "love" and "Xbox" in the same sentence. But I and many others wouldn't swap consoles for anything! What with the new Xbox One a little over a year old and the Microsoft Xbox brand, well over a decade old, it does give you a nice warm feeling inside.
Those of you reading now may well remember powering up the Xbox Original and enjoying Halo's orchestral tones, before beating a grunt to a pulp. Ahh... such sweet memories, but time waits for no man!
So roll forward to 2015 and Microsoft's Xbox One. Are you still 360, or have you gone Xbox One? If your still thinking about it, maybe the following Pro's and Con's may help.....
Xbox One Pro's - A next gen brand you know and trust. A new machine that technically knocks spots off the old 360. Advanced Graphics, Faster processing. The ability to play the Xbox 360 games you love (Coming Soon as update announced at June E3). Advanced voice and hand gesture control due to upgraded Xbox Kinect. A raft of new titles announced at E3 (Long overdue in my eyes) Halo 5, Call of Duty Black Ops 3, The Division, and my personal favourite Star wars Battlefront.
Xbox One Con's - Installing a game before you can play it takes forever, unlike the 360's load disc and play. It really is the only con, because it really is so boring waiting to jump into your new game. Those of us already experiencing that pain can only live in hope that gets an update one day.
As short and sweet as this blog may seem, I'd recommend upgrading to an Xbox One as it may last a damn sight longer than my idle blog.
