Hold on to your seats folks, or more to the point, hold on to your Xbox 360 games!!
Yes, as announced at June's E3 convention, the Xbox One will be given a new look come November.
That new look will be thanks to Microsoft's newly released Windows 10. It is a move which looks to umbrella all Microsoft products under the same operating system. And as the Xbox One was built around the Windows 8 O.S then there shouldn't be any problems at all with the upgraded changes to come.
The Changes..... First and foremost as a gamer, the best change will be a 360 emulator which will allow Xbox One owners to run Xbox 360 titles. As yet news is still vague on exactly which titles will be rolled over to Xbox One. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing some Gears of War and MW2, to name but a few. From speculation so far, it's been suggested that even if you don't have the disc and purchased through Xbox 360 store, then you'll still be able to download straight to Xbox One.

Secondly, a change to the dashboard, it'll be an upgraded version of Microsoft's tile system. Gaming Avatar's will make the welcomed return that a majority of gamers want (No sure who got polled?) Cortana - Microsoft's voice controlled search engine will also mark her debut. Cortana should allow gamers to quick search through Micro-light (The new Internet Explorer) during and out of gameplay.
Finally - There is also talk of cross platform gaming due to the update. Xbox One and Windows 10 PC gamers may well find themselves pitting their wits against each other on future released titles. Now that would start some fan boy mayhem and make match making lobbies very lively!!
The whole upgrade should run as smooth as a knife through butter. As the whole upgrade has by now been heavily tested via Microsoft's privileged Beta Testing that has been carried out for the last 3 months.
Roll on blowing the dust off my 360 titles....
